Lance Thomson Photographic is a Winnipeg-based commercial photography business with more than 1000 square feet of studio space.

Lance Thomson has been working in the photographic industry in Winnipeg since 1982, offering over 32 years of experience. After graduating in 1982, he moved to Winnipeg and worked for Display Photographic for 13 years as photographer and studio manager. Lance went on his own 19 years ago and was one of the first photographers in Winnipeg to go digital.

Clients have included True Value Hardware, Robins Donuts, Western Living magazine, Assiniboine Credit Union, Vita Health, MPI, Jostens, Conviron, V&S Variety, Crafts and More, Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Murray Chev Olds, Maple Leaf Distillers, Dufresne Furniture and Morrison Homes etc. Lance was the official photographer for the Winnipeg Jets from 2011 - 2015 and also does work for the True North Foundation.

Lance studied at the world-renowned Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California. He was on the Honour Role for numerous classes and won the Commercial Photography award in 1982. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Photography before moving to Winnipeg to begin his photography career.
